Enchanted Parks Holdings, LLC filed nine trademark applications on Jan. 8–9, 2026 for "Enchanted Parks" names covering amusement park services and related apparel. The filings list locations that correspond with several existing Six Flags properties in St. Louis, Michigan, New York, Kansas City and Galveston. Six Flags says it is reviewing its park portfolio amid efforts to focus on profitable growth; the filings do not by themselves confirm sales or rebranding.
New Trademark Filings Suggest Several Six Flags Parks Could Be Rebranded As 'Enchanted Parks'

New trademark filings have raised the possibility that several Six Flags properties across the United States could be rebranded or sold to an entity using the name "Enchanted Parks." Documents submitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Jan. 8–9, 2026 show that Enchanted Parks Holdings, LLC applied for nine trademarks covering "amusement park services" and related goods, including apparel such as T‑shirts, hoodies and jackets.
The filings include a general "Enchanted Parks" registration plus location-specific names: Enchanted Parks St. Louis; Enchanted Parks Michigan Adventure; Enchanted Parks Great Escape Lodge; Enchanted Parks Oceans Of Fun; Enchanted Parks Galveston; Enchanted Parks Camping Resort; Enchanted Parks Water Safari; and Enchanted Parks Water’s Edge Inn. Those names correspond closely with existing Six Flags properties, including Six Flags St. Louis; Michigan’s Adventure in Muskegon, Mich.; Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, N.Y.; the Worlds Of Fun and Oceans Of Fun complex in Kansas City; and the Schlitterbahn waterpark in Galveston, Texas.
Two of the filings — Enchanted Parks Water Safari and Enchanted Parks Water’s Edge Inn — mirror long-standing names associated with attractions in Old Forge, N.Y. (Enchanted Forest Water Safari and Water’s Edge Inn), which are linked to Innovative Attraction Management. The Florida‑based operator did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
All nine trademark applications list Enchanted Parks Holdings, LLC as the applicant. The company is registered in Delaware with a mailing address in Orlando, Fla.; Delaware Division of Corporations records indicate the entity was formed on Dec. 18, 2025. The attorney named on the filings did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
Six Flags did not directly confirm any sale or renaming when asked. In a statement, Gary Rhodes, the company's corporate director of communications, said the operator is "reviewing our park portfolio" and is focused on decisions that "strengthen the company and position us for profitable growth."
“Getting the portfolio smaller and more nimble is a priority,” Six Flags CFO Brian Witherow said during an earnings call last November. He added the company would "sell off and monetize parks that were not going to contribute to a great deal of growth" and redeploy proceeds to reduce debt.
Those remarks follow a period of financial pressure for Six Flags and align with recent actions: on Nov. 2, 2025, the company closed Six Flags America in Bowie, Md., after 50 years of operation. At this stage, the trademark filings only indicate that Enchanted Parks Holdings is protecting brand names tied to park and resort services; they do not, by themselves, confirm completed sales, transfers of ownership, or imminent name changes.
Observers and local communities affected by the filings will likely watch future corporate disclosures, additional trademark activity, and any sale or purchase records for clearer evidence of whether specific parks will be divested, rebranded, or otherwise reorganized.
