Kansas Cosmosphere to Host Artemis II Watch Party — Live NASA Broadcast and $35 VIP Access

Wichita, Kan. — For the first time in half a century, humans will return to lunar orbit as NASA prepares to launch Artemis II during a launch window running Feb. 6–11. The 10-day mission will be the agency’s first crewed trip around the moon since Apollo 8 in December 1968.

The Kansas Cosmosphere is hosting a public Watch Party to stream the Artemis II launch live. The family-friendly event will include a live NASA broadcast in the Justice Planetarium, hands-on activities and exhibits, food and concessions, and a special presentation titled “Countdown to Artemis II” by John Mulnix, NASA Solar System Ambassador.
VIP Experience
A limited VIP package is available for $35. VIP ticket holders will receive access to a fully immersive environment, complimentary Artemis-themed promotional items, and special reserved seating in the venue’s Mission Control room. Tickets are limited and expected to sell quickly.
