New Epstein Island Images Reveal Dental Chair Surrounded by Masks; Chalkboard Reads 'Power' and 'Deception'

House Democrats published previously unseen photos and short videos from Jeffrey Epstein’s Little Saint James estate after receiving the materials from the U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General. The images include a dental chair surrounded by 10 yellow masks and a chalkboard bearing the words 'power' and 'deception,' along with shots of bedrooms, a shower area and the pool. Four short videos were also released. Lawmakers say bank records from J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank will follow after review; some government files may remain redacted to protect victims and ongoing investigations.

New Epstein Island Images Reveal Dental Chair Surrounded by Masks; Chalkboard Reads 'Power' and 'Deception'

House Democrats released a new collection of previously unseen photos and short videos taken at Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James. The material was submitted to the House Oversight Committee by the U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General and adds visual detail to the investigation into Epstein’s estate and alleged criminal activity.

Key images and footage

  • Dental chair surrounded by masks: A room shows what appears to be a dental chair with 10 yellow masks mounted on the walls, each depicting a man's face; none were immediately identifiable as public figures.
  • Chalkboard message: A chalkboard photographed on the property contains words including 'power' and 'deception.'
  • Other scenes: Images also show a shower with a long bench and many towels and pillows, a "No Trespassing" sign, a telephone with multiple speed-dial entries, and photographs of bedrooms, bathrooms and the pool area.
  • Video clips: The release includes four short videos, featuring the estate's pool area and at least one bedroom.

"These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island," said Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee. "We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes. We won’t stop fighting until we deliver justice for the survivors."

Garcia’s office said it has also received bank records requested from J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank that document transactions Epstein used. Those financial records will be released after review to remove information that could compromise victims or ongoing probes.

The image release followed an almost unanimous congressional vote to make government files about Epstein public; the president signed the authorization into law. The statute permits redactions or withholding of material that could identify victims or interfere with investigations, so large portions of government evidence could remain sealed indefinitely. The full contents of the files have not yet been disclosed and may include evidence seized from Epstein’s properties after his 2019 arrest.

Public fallout and context

The renewed disclosure of documents and images this year intensified scrutiny of people associated with Epstein. Britain’s Prince Andrew was stripped of royal duties amid allegations by the late Virginia Giuffre that she was forced to have sexual encounters with him when she was 17. Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers was placed on leave from Harvard and later banned by the American Economic Association after emails showed continued contact with Epstein following his 2008 conviction. Representatives for Prince Andrew, Larry Summers and Donald Trump have denied any criminal sexual conduct related to their ties with Epstein.

The newly released photos and videos are part of an ongoing effort by lawmakers and prosecutors to gather evidence and strengthen transparency for survivors and the public. Investigations and reviews of the materials continue, and additional documents may be published after necessary redactions.
