Agoda’s Rocket Travel has teamed up with WestJet to launch WestJet Hotels, a global hotel-booking platform offering more than 500,000 properties. Operated by Rocket Travel by Agoda, the service handles search, booking and support while integrating hotel reservations with WestJet’s flight services. The platform focuses on key WestJet markets in Europe, North America and Asia and aims to simplify trip planning while growing loyalty engagement.

WestJet and Rocket Travel by Agoda launch WestJet Hotels
Agoda’s strategic partnerships division, Rocket Travel, has partnered with Canadian carrier WestJet to introduce a new global hotel-booking service called WestJet Hotels. The platform is managed and operated by Rocket Travel by Agoda and gives WestJet customers and WestJet Rewards members access to more than 500,000 properties worldwide.
WestJet Hotels handles the entire booking journey — from hotel search and reservation to customer support — and is designed to integrate hotel bookings with WestJet’s flight services so travellers can organise flights and accommodation together through the airline’s channels.
By enabling points accrual on hotel stays, the initiative supports growth of the WestJet Rewards programme and is intended to encourage repeat bookings. WestJet Rewards members will earn a minimum of two WestJet points per US dollar spent on hotel bookings, with additional value for members at higher loyalty tiers.
“We are proud to be partnering with Rocket Travel by Agoda to offer more flexibility and choice to guests and WestJet Rewards members,” said Steve McClelland, WestJet’s vice-president of loyalty and strategic partnerships. “With more than 500,000 hotel options, our new hotel booking platform will offer something to suit the needs of every guest.”
Damien Pfirsch, head of Rocket Travel by Agoda, added: “At Rocket Travel by Agoda, we are committed to delivering a more connected trip experience, where every stage of travel is seamlessly integrated. This partnership is a perfect example of that vision in action.”
WestJet Hotels will prioritise markets served by the airline and expand inventory across key regions in WestJet’s network, including Europe, North America and Asia. The launch is part of WestJet’s broader strategy to broaden travel options for customers while strengthening its loyalty offering and making trip planning more seamless.
Earlier in October, Agoda worked with hotel operator Premier Inn to meet growing demand from Asian travellers seeking accommodation in the UK and Europe — an example of Rocket Travel’s wider partnership activity in the region.
