President Donald Trump told a Washington audience he believed JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon "doesn't like" him, referencing a $5 billion lawsuit he filed last week. He made the remark with laughter while speaking at an event for his "Trump Accounts" program for children. The suit accuses JPMorgan and Dimon of "debanking" him by closing multiple accounts to advance a political agenda. The bank has not publicly accepted that characterization.
Trump Says Jamie Dimon 'Doesn't Like' Him Amid $5 Billion 'Debanking' Lawsuit

WASHINGTON, Jan 28 — President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he did not believe JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon "likes" him these days, a remark that referenced a $5 billion lawsuit he filed last week against the bank and its chief executive.
Speaking at an event promoting his "Trump Accounts" program for children, Trump quipped to laughter:
"I don't think Jamie likes me too much nowadays, but that's OK."
The suit, filed on Thursday, names JPMorgan Chase and Dimon and accuses them of "debanking" Trump by closing several of his accounts. The complaint alleges the account closures were taken to further a political agenda. JPMorgan has not publicly conceded those allegations.
Trump used the moment to underscore his broader contention that some financial institutions have treated him unfairly for political reasons, while the litigation seeks $5 billion in damages.
