Three men who traveled to central Florida for the Mecum Car Show were shot and killed outside an Airbnb in the Indian Point subdivision near Kissimmee on Jan. 17, authorities and family members said.
The victims were identified by relatives as Douglas Kraft of Columbus, Ohio; his brother Robert Kraft of Holland, Michigan; and James Puchan of Galena, Ohio. The trio had been attending the car show and were dealing with vehicle trouble before planning to return home, family members said.
While the men waited for assistance, family members say an individual—allegedly known to local law enforcement—observed them from a distance and then approached them. 'There were no known interactions between the men and this individual prior to the event; they were then approached and senselessly murdered,' the family wrote in a joint statement calling the killings 'a random, tragic act.'

Osceola County deputies responding to the scene detained 29-year-old Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, who was booked on three counts of murder and is being held in the Osceola County Jail. Deputies executed a search warrant at Bojeh's residence and recovered two firearms, though investigators have not confirmed whether those weapons were used in the killings.
'There is no threat to the community, as the suspect responsible for these horrific and senseless murders has been apprehended by Osceola County deputies.' — Sheriff Christopher Blackmon
Court records obtained by local media show Bojeh was previously found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2022 on an attempted murder charge. A judge ordered his release in December 2022 under conditions that included mental-health treatment, a prohibition on possessing firearms and a restriction against contacting the victims. Additional records indicated he had been complying with those requirements as recently as March 2024.
The sheriff's office and investigators have not released a motive and say the case remains under active investigation. It is unclear whether Bojeh has entered a plea or whether further charges will be filed. Family members asked for privacy and prayers: 'These three wonderful men did not deserve this. Our families are left with an unexpected, unimaginable loss that cannot be put into words.'
Officials urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the Osceola County Sheriff's Office as investigators continue to piece together the events leading up to the killings.
