Florida Neighbor Arrested After 'Cold-Blooded' Shooting That Killed Three Tourists Near Kissimmee

A 29-year-old man has been arrested after three adult men staying at a rental home near Kissimmee, Florida, were found shot to death in what the Osceola County sheriff called a "horrific and senseless" act of violence.
Osceola County Sheriff Christopher Blackmon identified the suspect as Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, who lived next door to the property where the victims were staying. Deputies responded to a reported shooting at about 12:13 p.m. on Saturday and discovered the three men dead in front of the rental home, each suffering apparent gunshot wounds.
"It was cold-blooded, it was premeditated, there was absolutely no issues," Sheriff Blackmon said. "There was no conflict between these people. This was just random. And this happened to be the person who lived next door."
The sheriff said the men had extended their stay at the rental property by one day after becoming stranded while waiting for vehicle repairs. Two of the victims were identified as Robert Luis Kraft, 69, of Holland, Michigan, and his brother Douglas Joseph Kraft, 68, of Columbus, Ohio. The third victim was identified as James Puchan, 68, described as a friend from Ohio.
Deputies located Bojeh inside his neighboring residence about an hour after the shooting and took him into custody. Online jail records show he was booked on three counts of premeditated murder and one count of resisting arrest without violence. He was being held without bond at the Osceola County Jail, officials said.
Sheriff Blackmon described Bojeh as a frequent subject of calls to the sheriff's office and said neighbors had considered him a recurring threat. Local court records show Bojeh was arrested in 2021 in connection with allegations that he fired at a person and at random cars in a Kissimmee gas station parking lot; those records indicate he was later acquitted by reason of insanity in that earlier case.
Authorities emphasized the investigation is ongoing as they work to determine motive and the full circumstances of the killings. No formal determination of motive has been released, and the defendant is entitled to due process under the law.
