Net Health has expanded its partnership with Kno2 (a designated QHIN) to strengthen interoperability and reduce reliance on fax-based exchanges. The enhanced integration, which builds on work begun in 2021, aims to enable secure, standards-based data sharing across acute, post-acute, home and residential care settings while supporting regulatory compliance. Initial efforts will prioritise national interoperability for post-acute rehabilitation, starting with skilled nursing before expanding more broadly. Executives say the move advances connected workflows, improves care coordination and benefits Net Health's 34,000+ clients.

Net Health and Kno2 deepen partnership to modernize healthcare data exchange
Net Health has expanded its collaboration with Kno2, a designated Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN), to strengthen interoperability across the care continuum and reduce reliance on legacy fax workflows. Building on an integration that began in 2021, the enhanced partnership aims to deliver secure, standards-based data sharing across acute care centres, hospitals, post-acute facilities, provider organisations, home health services and residential care settings.
The agreement focuses on improving clinical and demographic data exchange, ensuring better regulatory alignment and enabling workflow modernisation so providers can operate more efficiently. Using Kno2's Communication API, Net Health clients can expect more reliable, standards-based messaging and reduced administrative friction from outdated fax processes.
Initial priorities and rollout
The partnership will initially prioritise national interoperability for post-acute rehabilitation services, beginning with skilled nursing facilities and then expanding to other care environments. Over time the organisations plan to further modernise document exchange and extend capabilities across all care settings.
Leadership perspectives
Ron Books, CEO of Net Health: The expanded partnership is an important step toward advancing how healthcare organisations connect and collaborate. Together, we are helping providers move beyond disconnected systems so they can focus on delivering better care coordination for patients and stronger results for their organisations.
Therasa Bell, president and co-founder of Kno2: With more than 34,000 Net Health customers, modern and scalable interoperability is essential to exchange demographic and clinical data between providers and strategic partners, preserving continuity of care for patients and clinicians.
This collaboration is intended to accelerate adoption of connected technologies and streamlined workflows that support improved patient outcomes, operational efficiency and compliance with federal standards.
