Surveillance video shows three masked burglars forcing their way into Bella Abby and Ava Boutique in Newport Beach just before 4 a.m., stealing more than $200,000 in luxury handbags and jewelry. Footage and the owner’s account indicate the thieves targeted Chanel and Hermès items, filled garbage bags, and fled in a BMW 4 Series and a Mercedes‑Benz GLC 300 Coupé with no visible plates. The owner, a single mother, believes the burglars knew the store layout and disabled cameras; she has hired a private investigator and is offering a $10,000 reward. Local police are investigating and no arrests were reported at the time.
Surveillance Shows Masked Thieves Smash Into Newport Beach Boutique, Flee In Luxury SUVs

Surveillance footage obtained by Fox News Digital captures a brazen early-morning burglary at Bella Abby and Ava Boutique in Newport Beach, where three masked thieves forced their way into the store and escaped with hundreds of thousands of dollars in designer merchandise.
Details Of The Break-In
The break-in occurred just before 4 a.m. on Sunday. Video shows the trio smashing the storefront, grabbing garbage bags, and filling them with high-end handbags and jewelry before fleeing the scene within minutes.
Owner Jennifer Sprenger told ABC7 the suspects went straight for top brands: "They went right to the Chanels. They wiped out all of those. Then they grabbed all of the Hermès, and then they just started throwing things down." She added, "They took all the jewelry. I'm just very sad. My heart is broken."
"When you have a team of three people, it's probably pretty easy, in three minutes, to get a lot of stuff," Sprenger said. "They knew where the lights were. They shut off the video cameras. They turned cameras. How would they know where all this was? It's like it was a very well thought-out, planned attack."
Losses, Escape Vehicles, And Investigation
Investigators estimate the stolen merchandise is worth more than $200,000. Witnesses and footage suggest the suspects fled in two unmarked luxury vehicles — a new BMW 4 Series and a Mercedes‑Benz GLC 300 Coupé — reportedly without visible license plates.
Sprenger, who opened the boutique about a year ago, believes the burglars were familiar with the store layout and security systems. She has hired a private investigator and is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to arrests. Local law enforcement is actively investigating the incident; no arrests had been reported at the time of coverage.
Community Impact: Sprenger described the emotional and financial toll of the theft: she is a single mother with three daughters in college and says the loss represents roughly half her inventory. She urged anyone with information or footage to come forward.
