WASHINGTON, Jan 15 (Reuters) — Madison Sheahan, the deputy director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), said in a social media post on Thursday that she is leaving the agency.

Sheahan, 28, joined ICE early last year and has held a senior leadership role at the federal immigration enforcement agency. She has been described in media reports as a close ally of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
