A visitor at Fontainebleau Las Vegas turned a $25 wager on a Dragon Link slot into a life-changing payout on Thanksgiving Day, walking away with more than $1,152,000.

The winner chose to remain anonymous. Casino representatives did not provide additional comment on the player's identity or the machine involved.

Dragon Link progressive machines can deliver large jackpots on relatively small stakes; the maximum wager on the $2 denomination of that game is $50. This recent win is one of several headline-grabbing payouts on the Las Vegas Strip in recent weeks.

Earlier in November, another guest reportedly converted a $125 bet into a $1,140,529 payout on a Dragon Link machine. Shortly after, a player at another Strip resort turned a $5 wager into a Megabucks jackpot of more than $11.1 million — the casino’s first-ever win on that specific progressive network.

Despite these big wins, Las Vegas visitation has softened: September attendance was just over 3 million visitors, an 8.8% decline from the same month last year, according to city tourism data.
