Galactic Energy reported that a Ceres‑1 launch failed on Monday, preventing the mission's payload from reaching orbit.
The rocket lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 12:02 p.m. local time (0402 GMT) but experienced a shutdown during its fourth‑stage flight, stopping orbital insertion.
Investigators are probing the anomaly and the company said it will provide updates when further information is available.
