Greater Manchester Police and a Bolton family are appealing to the public for help after 13-year-old Lillia Lloyd Walton went missing last week. Lillia was reported missing after she did not return to her home on the evening of Friday, Sept. 11.
What We Know
Police say Lillia was last seen at her Bolton home at around 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. Security footage later captured her boarding the No. 247 bus at the Trafford Centre at 1:50 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12. It is not yet known how long she remained on the bus or where she went afterward.
Description
Authorities describe Lillia as approximately 5 ft 5 in tall with long light-brown hair. She normally wears clear-frame glasses. When last seen she was wearing dark wide-leg trousers, a black zipped jacket and was carrying a black Nike daypack.
Family Appeal
Speaking on Lillia’s behalf at a police press briefing, Chief Superintendent Helen Critchley read a message from Lillia’s mother, Jessica: “Lill, I love you so so much. My heart is breaking without you here. I need to know you are safe. We all need you back home safe and well.”
How You Can Help
Greater Manchester Police have asked anyone with CCTV, Ring/doorbell footage or dashcam images from the Trafford Centre area and surrounding routes to check their recordings and come forward. Officers also want to hear from anyone who spoke to or saw Lillia after she left home on Sept. 11–12.
