Officers confirm the incident is being treated as a missing-person investigation and say there is "nothing to indicate anything sinister or any element of criminality has taken place." They warn Noah may not respond if his name is called because he is partially deaf and non-verbal.

Residents are asked to check CCTV and doorbell-camera footage and to inspect garden sheds, garages and other outbuildings for any sign of the boy. Police request that volunteer search efforts are coordinated through officers at the scene to ensure searches are safe and effective.

"He looked happy and healthy," said a worker who believes they saw Noah in the playground shortly before he disappeared.
