IDF Finds Hezbollah Rockets and Launcher in Mount Dov; West Bank Raids Yield Weapons and Three Arrests

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Tuesday that troops discovered missiles and a rocket launcher linked to Hezbollah during operations in southern Lebanon, and separately recovered weapons in the West Bank. The military reported that several launchers containing dozens of rockets were found and dismantled, and that three suspects were arrested in separate overnight West Bank operations.
Mount Dov Operation
Soldiers from the IDF's 810th Mountain Brigade, operating under the 210th Division, located a rocket launcher and additional munitions during maneuvers in the Mount Dov area along Israel's security line. Earlier the same day, forces from the 55th Brigade (under the 91st Division) uncovered ready-to-use rocket launchers in southern Lebanon.

The IDF said the launchers contained 32 rockets aimed toward Israeli territory and that the weapons had been left in the area prior to the ceasefire. All identified launchers were dismantled and a nearby hideout—reported to include a shaft associated with Hezbollah—was neutralized and cleared by troops.
West Bank Seizures
In a separate operation on Tuesday, Army Radio reported that IDF forces recovered weapons and equipment in the West Bank village of Talfit. Seized items included an M-16 rifle, combat vests, what appeared to be body armor, uniforms and scarves bearing the Palestinian flag. Photographs released by the military identify the haul and date some images to September 15, 2026.

Arrests in Bir Neballa
Also on Tuesday, Israel Police said Border Police officers arrested three people suspected of involvement in terrorism during overnight raids in the West Bank village of Bir Neballa. Two suspects were detained after their homes were raided in an operation guided by intelligence from the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency). A third person was arrested in a separate action based on information from Israel Police's Judea and Samaria District.
All three detainees were transferred to the Jerusalem Border Police investigation and intelligence department for questioning.
Note: The IDF described the Mount Dov finds as weapons caches left before the ceasefire; investigations and intelligence follow-ups are ongoing.
