RCMP investigators in Nova Scotia remain actively searching for siblings Lilly Sullivan, 6, and Jack Sullivan, 4, who were last seen May 2 at their family home. Court filings obtained by the CBC detail extensive search activity — including grid searches, cadaver dogs and polygraphs — and note roughly 75 interviews and review of about 8,000 video files. New records describe tensions between the children’s mother and her husband but police say no suspects have been identified; the probe could become a criminal investigation as new leads develop. A reward of up to CAD $150,000 is being offered for information.

Authorities in Nova Scotia continue to search for siblings Lilly Sullivan, 6, and Jack Sullivan, 4, who were last seen at their family home on the morning of May 2. Eight months after their disappearance, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) investigators say they have pursued multiple lines of inquiry but have not identified or arrested any suspects.

Court documents obtained by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) provide new detail about the scope of the investigation and the family dynamic at the center of the case. Investigative steps since May have included a grid search of woods near the family property, deployment of cadaver dogs, polygraph examinations and extensive digital review.

According to the filings and RCMP statements, investigators have conducted roughly 75 interviews, sought at least a dozen search warrants, reviewed more than 8,000 video files and followed over 1,000 public tips. Police emphasize the probe remains active and evolving.

Family Accounts And Court Records

The children were living with their mother, Malehya Brooks-Murray, and her husband, Daniel Martell, along with the couple’s infant daughter at the time they went missing. The court documents summarize interviews about the couple’s relationship. In her interview, Brooks-Murray described episodes in which Martell "would try to block her, hold her down and once he pushed her," and said he sometimes took her phone when she attempted to call her mother.

Martell has told investigators he and Brooks-Murray had a "good" relationship overall but had recently argued about money, and that their disputes involved yelling rather than physical violence.

RCMP Staff Sgt. Rob McCamon told the CBC that investigators are considering the nature of the couple’s relationship as part of the inquiry but would not single out any factor at this time. "I wouldn't say anybody's a suspect," he said, adding that the investigation could become criminal as new evidence emerges.

Other Family Details

The court filings also describe the children’s biological father, Cody Sullivan. Records indicate he had not seen Lilly or Jack in several years, though he had previously paid child support; payments reportedly stopped after he lost his job about nine months before the children vanished.

A community-run "Find Lilly and Jack Sullivan" Facebook page remains active, and the Government of Nova Scotia continues to offer a reward of up to CAD $150,000 (about USD $107,000) for information leading to the children’s whereabouts.

Police continue to ask anyone with information — no matter how small it may seem — to contact the RCMP. Media reports and court records from the RCMP, the Government of Nova Scotia and the CBC provide the basis for these details.
