Levin vs. Kelly: Fierce Feud Erupts After Megyn Kelly’s Controversial Epstein Comments

Mark Levin publicly attacked Megyn Kelly after she suggested a distinction between Epstein’s attraction to 15-year-olds and much younger children, calling her a "lowlife" and urging her to change course. Kelly denied Levin had labeled her a Nazi and fired back, attaching a clip to support her claim. Survivors and commentators widely criticized Kelly’s remarks, and Levin amplified those responses. The feud reflects wider divisions within conservative media and politics over how the Epstein case and related controversies are handled.

Levin vs. Kelly: Fierce Feud Erupts After Megyn Kelly’s Controversial Epstein Comments

Fox News commentator Mark Levin has escalated a public feud with Megyn Kelly after Kelly made remarks on her podcast about the age of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims that many critics called deeply insensitive. Levin publicly condemned Kelly’s comments, calling her a "lowlife" on social media and urging her to "change course."

The spat began after an episode of The Megyn Kelly Show in which Kelly suggested there is a distinction between a 15-year-old and a much younger child and said Epstein was not an "actual pedophile" because, in her words, his victims were not elementary-aged children. Kelly said, "I think there is a difference. There’s a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old, you know?" Her remarks drew swift backlash from survivors and public figures.

Levin responded on social media:

“You’ve revealed yourself. You also have the mouth of a lowlife. Very limited vocabulary. You should work on that.”
He also accused Kelly of smearing Epstein’s victims and urged her to seek help.

Kelly pushed back on her show and in tweets, accusing Levin of previously calling her a Nazi and criticizing what she described as the overuse of that label. Levin denied calling her a Nazi or an antisemite and continued to criticize her statements and amplify responses from others who condemned her remarks.

Public reaction included condemnation from survivors and commentators. Actress Melissa Gilbert said Kelly’s comments "actually nauseated" her, and conservative commentator Meghan McCain called them "obviously insane." Levin reposted and endorsed several of those criticisms, and also highlighted an earlier clip in which Kelly said she admired Levin and listened to his work.

Kelly attached a clip to one of her tweets showing Levin discussing hatred toward Jewish people among various extremist groups and naming public figures he said were "destroying" America; she interpreted some of his commentary as grouping her with extremist labels. Levin maintained he meant to describe certain media figures as "grifters," not Nazis.

This confrontation is part of broader tensions within conservative media and the MAGA movement that have surfaced around the Jeffrey Epstein case and other flashpoints. Figures across the right-wing ecosystem — from elected officials pressing to release Epstein-related documents to media personalities sparring over interviews and rhetoric — have clashed publicly in recent months.

Levin has a history of blunt public critiques of fellow conservatives, having sparred with figures such as Steve Bannon and Rep. Thomas Massie, and even criticized former President Trump on specific issues. The exchange with Kelly highlights how disputes over language and accountability can quickly become high-profile media battles.

Representatives for both Kelly and Levin did not immediately provide additional comment. The incident continues to attract attention as both commentators trade accusations and allies weigh in.
