Laura Loomer celebrated President Trump’s public distancing from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after Trump called Greene a "traitor" and a "ranting lunatic." Greene warned that such language could put her in danger, while Trump dismissed those concerns. Loomer—who has a long-running feud with Greene—claimed credit for the nickname and criticized Greene’s push to release Jeffrey Epstein–related records. The exchange follows Trump’s shift urging House Republicans to release the Epstein files.

MAGA activist Laura Loomer applauded President Donald Trump on Monday after he publicly distanced himself from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R‑Ga.), saying the president finally "branded her with the nickname I gave her 4 years ago." Loomer, who has a long-running rivalry with Greene, celebrated what she described as a political turning point.

The dispute intensified after Trump called Greene "a traitor" and, in a Truth Social post, a "ranting lunatic," in response to her continued push to make public records tied to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Greene told CNN's Dana Bash she feared that language "could radicalize people against me and put my life in danger," calling the "traitor" label "so extremely wrong."

Trump later downplayed Greene's safety concerns, telling reporters, "I don’t think her life is in danger. Frankly, I don’t think anybody cares about her."

Responding to Trump’s turn, Loomer highlighted her feud with Greene, alleging that Greene "tried to steal my job working for Trump in 2023 with lies and slurs." Loomer posted: "In the end, President Trump killed off her political career and branded her with the nickname I gave her 4 years ago. Feels good to win. Doesn’t it? Marjorie Traitor Greene. Karma. It’s real." She added separately, "I’d be lying if I said I’m not loving this."

Loomer also attacked Greene for pressing to release Epstein-related records, saying Greene was "going to hell" for that effort and accusing her of spending time on "leftist news shows bashing Trump, insinuating that he’s a pedophile."

The comments come as Trump shifted his stance on the Epstein records. After previously urging House Republicans to oppose a discharge petition that would force a House vote on releasing documents tied to Epstein, the president later said, "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide."
