KYIV, March 20 (Reuters) — Ukraine has deployed interceptor units to protect critical and civilian infrastructure across five countries in the Middle East, Security Council Secretary Rustem Umerov said following a regional visit.
Purpose and Scope: The deployment is intended to bolster defensive coverage for key facilities and civil infrastructure in those countries. Details on the specific locations and the exact nature of the interceptor systems were not disclosed in Umerov's statement.
"Work is also underway to expand coverage areas," Umerov wrote on X.
