Dan Bongino Returns to Conservative Media, Vows to Root Out ‘Black-Pillers’ and ‘Grifters’ Trying to ‘Hijack’ MAGA

Dan Bongino, a conservative commentator, podcast host and former Secret Service agent who previously ran for public office, announced his return to conservative media on Monday and launched a blistering attack on what he called a “group of black-pillers, life‑losers, grifters and bums” that he says are trying to hijack the MAGA movement.
In a post to followers marking his media comeback, Bongino said it felt good to reconnect with his audience and thanked supporters for their patience. He praised the Trump team as "determined and focused" and suggested he would have show-related announcements soon, while taking a couple of days to be with family.
He added several pointed notes for followers, including a blunt explanation of how his team handles critics:
- "Thank you for your interest in the show and its return date. We will have something for you soon."
- "The Trump team is not kidding around. It’s an otherworldly experience from the other side. He’s determined and focused. And having been around quite a few Presidents, this one broke the mold."
- "If we blocked you, it’s because we care so little about your bullshit that we deem it not worthy of even seeing."
Bongino warned that critics who obsess over being blocked reveal an inability to disengage and urged people not to create division. "We do it because there’s nothing black‑pillers and anti‑Trumpers want more than to create division and drama. We’re about results," he wrote.
He later singled out "black‑pillers" in a follow-up message. The term is used online to describe people who adopt a nihilistic view of social life—often associated with certain far‑right subcultures and some incel communities—and who believe outcomes such as romantic success are driven solely by physical appearance. Far‑right influencers such as Nick Fuentes are commonly cited as examples of the kinds of figures Bongino appears to be criticizing.
"I started in this movement as a candidate during the Tea Party movement, and I began my political commentary career shortly thereafter. I helped build this movement and I sure as hell am not going to let it get hijacked by a group of black‑pillers, life‑losers, grifters and bums," Bongino wrote. "We are a movement guided by truth. The essence of conservative ideology is the preservation of eternal truths. We are not the 'latest thing' group. We are not political cannibals."
He framed efforts to remove what he described as divisive elements as a necessary corrective rather than mere "infighting," arguing the movement must remain focused with major elections approaching. Bongino closed by teasing forthcoming announcements about the show's return and expressing optimism about the movement's future.
