Influencer Brett Dadig Indicted on 14 Counts of Stalking and Harassment; Faces Up to 70 Years and $3.5M Fine

Brett Dadig, a 31-year-old social media creator from Pennsylvania, was indicted on 14 counts alleging stalking and harassing 11 women across five states during summer and fall 2025. Prosecutors say he targeted women online and in person, followed some to work, committed at least one instance of unwanted sexual touching, and was barred from several gyms. The indictment also alleges he posted threatening rhetoric and photos of women without consent. Dadig faces up to 70 years in prison and a $3.5 million fine; he is in custody pending a Dec. 15 detention hearing.

Summary: A Pennsylvania-based social media creator, Brett Dadig, has been indicted on 14 federal counts alleging a pattern of stalking and harassing 11 women across five states. The charges, filed Dec. 2, accuse him of both online and in-person conduct that prosecutors say included unwanted touching, following victims to work, posting photos without consent and threatening rhetoric.

Allegations in the Indictment

The 14-count indictment, filed in early December, alleges that the 31-year-old content creator engaged in a months-long campaign of intimidation during the summer and fall of 2025. Federal prosecutors say Dadig documented his intent to find a wife online and then targeted individual women with intimidating messages across social platforms, podcasts and by phone.

Reported Conduct

According to the charges, Dadig is accused of following some women to their places of employment and of subjecting at least one woman to unwanted sexual touching. He was reportedly banned from several Pittsburgh-area fitness centers because of his behavior. Prosecutors also allege he shared violent and derogatory language online— including references to strangulation and slurs—and posted photographs of women without their consent.

Social Media Presence

Dadig maintains a public Instagram account with more than 7,000 followers where he posts about athletics, faith and his romantic life. In a video posted to Instagram on Nov. 7, he acknowledged that some of his social media conduct had upset people and said, "I apologize if I’ve made anyone not comfortable," adding that "this chaos just continues to find me, and I just deal with it and roll with the punches."

Legal Status and Potential Penalties

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania says the indictment carries a statutory maximum of up to 70 years in prison, a fine of up to $3.5 million, or both. Dadig had previously been charged on Nov. 7 with three counts of cyberstalking. He is currently being held in custody pending a detention hearing scheduled for Dec. 15.

Requests for comment to Dadig’s representatives were not immediately returned.
