UCF Space Week — Nov 3–7
The University of Central Florida will host UCF Space Week from November 3–7, celebrating the university’s leadership in space research, industry partnerships and workforce development. Known as America’s Space University, UCF plays a central role in Florida’s space economy through collaborative research and ties with industry leaders.

Highlighted events
- The Economist’s 3rd Annual Space Economy Summit (Nov 5–6): Leaders from industry, government and academia will convene to discuss advances in space technology, policy and governance.
- SpaceU Awards Dinner and Drone Show (Nov 6): The awards dinner is invitation-only and will honor achievements in space research and innovation. A public drone light show will take place at Memory Mall for the broader community.
- SpaceU Symposium (Nov 7): Researchers from UCF, the University of Florida, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and other Florida institutions will present recent findings and ongoing projects.
- UCF vs. Houston — Mission IX: Hyperspace (Nov 7): UCF will host a nationally broadcast football game against Houston, featuring the team’s special ‘Mission IX: Hyperspace’ uniforms.
