Undercover Operation in Kalkilya
Border Police and IDF units, working with Shin Bet intelligence, carried out a pre-dawn undercover operation in Kalkilya (Qalqilya), arresting two suspected militants, police said. The coordinated raid targeted multiple wanted individuals at two locations simultaneously.
Troops entered the area covertly in the early hours and surrounded the buildings where the suspects were sheltering. At one site, soldiers came under attack when several weapons were thrown from a nearby building; three people believed to be linked to that attack were detained at the scene.
Following the arrests, forces recovered an M16 rifle, a carrying bag, a ceramic vest fitted with armor plates, several magazines and a large quantity of ammunition.
The operation combined Border Police, IDF ground units and Shin Bet guidance. Authorities said the coordinated early-morning action resulted in the arrests and the seizure of firearms and tactical gear.
