Investigation Status

Maumelle Police have not released details about the vehicle involved or what caused it to enter the restaurant. Investigators say the crash remains under active review and additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Authorities initially withheld the victim’s name while next of kin were notified; they later identified the victim as Tracy Long and extended condolences to her family, friends and coworkers.

Legal Note: A refusal to submit to a chemical test does not by itself establish blood alcohol concentration. An arrest is not a conviction; suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
