UPS Launches 'Ship and Dip' — 20% Off to Send Ranch Dressing Home as TSA, Kraft Heinz Join the Craze

UPS is capitalizing on the World Cup–era obsession with ranch dressing by introducing a limited-time international shipping promotion so visitors can send bottles of America’s favorite condiment home.
UPS 'Ship and Dip' Promotion
From now through Sept. 30, UPS is offering a 20% discount on international shipments under a promotion called "Ship and Dip". The discount is available in-store and each customer is limited to one coupon. The offer is designed to help fans who fell for ranch while visiting the United States and want to transport it overseas.
TSA Weighs In After Ranch Goes Viral
The Transportation Security Administration published guidance after social media and on-the-ground enthusiasm made ranch a viral souvenir among World Cup visitors. In an Instagram post on June 16, the TSA playfully noted that a carry-on isn’t built for 'checks notes' four bottles of ranch and reminded travelers of the proper way to transport condiments.
Carry-On Rules and Travel Tips
Under TSA rules, liquids and gels in carry-on luggage must be in containers of 3.4 oz (100 ml) or smaller and all such containers must fit into a single quart-sized, resealable bag. Containers larger than 3.4 oz must be checked, even if they are not full. For fans who don’t want to risk checked luggage, UPS’s international shipping discount offers an alternative to discarding or hurriedly consuming prized purchases.
Kraft Heinz's 'TSA-Compliant Ranch'
Kraft Heinz confirmed to USA TODAY that it plans to release a product called 'TSA-Compliant Ranch'. The company posted a partly AI-generated image of the item on its Instagram account @kraftsauces and said the product will be available for a limited time, with more information to follow. Kraft Heinz teased: 'Some visitors leave with souvenirs. Others leave with America’s favorite dressing.'
Why Ranch Went Global
Ranch dressing is a distinctly American creation—invented in Alaska by a Nebraska-born entrepreneur and refined in California in the 1950s. Made from buttermilk, mayonnaise, herbs and spices, ranch grew from a U.S. salad-dressing staple into a broadly popular flavor. Even before this World Cup, ranch was closely associated with American food culture; for example, Doritos' 'Cool Ranch' flavor is marketed in Europe as 'Cool American.'
Where Else You Can Find Ranch
Ranch is available outside the United States in countries with strong American culinary influence, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Mexico, though availability and varieties may differ.
