A new joint Jewish–Arab political list called A Place For All Of Us was publicly launched on Tuesday as Israel heads toward its next general election. The party presents itself as a fully shared Arab‑Jewish formation that will campaign in both Hebrew and Arabic and push for equality, social justice and practical solutions to everyday problems.
Leadership and Origins
The slate is co‑chaired by Rula Daood and Alon‑Lee Green and is made up largely of activists from the left‑wing Standing Together movement. Party organizers emphasized that leadership roles and campaign messaging will be identical in Arabic and Hebrew to underscore the group's commitment to shared representation and bilingual outreach.
Platform And Priorities
Officials say the party will focus on issues that affect citizens' daily lives. Key priorities announced at the launch include:
- Combating violence and crime and restoring public safety amid an ongoing war;
- Addressing the high cost of living and housing shortages, plus practical construction and planning reforms;
- Improving education and closing gaps in school services and opportunity;
- Re‑elevating the Israeli‑Palestinian peace process, which the party called an urgent issue that has been sidelined.
Political Goals
Leaders said the list seeks not only to challenge the current government but also to offer a new national direction and to mobilize younger voters who might otherwise abstain without a Jewish‑Arab option. Co‑chair Alon‑Lee Green explicitly said the party will work to remove National Security Minister Itamar Ben‑Gvir, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from power.

Daood is reported to be the first Palestinian woman to head a national political party in Israel and, at the time of the launch, the only woman leading a political party nationally.
Context Within Arab Politics
The launch comes amid a fragmented Arab political scene. Four main Arab parties—Hadash, Ta'al, Balad and Ra'am—are contesting the election, but recent developments have complicated efforts to present a united front. Hadash, Ta'al and Balad recently announced plans to re‑form a Joint List without Ra'am, while Ra'am continues to run independently. Currently, Ra'am and Hadash‑Ta'al are the Arab‑Israeli parties represented in the Knesset; Balad has struggled to pass the electoral threshold on its own.
Israel's general election is scheduled to be held no later than October 27.
