Two additional victims of the Jan. 25 Bangor International Airport crash have been identified as second pilot Jorden Reidel, 33, and sommelier Shelby Kuyawa, 34. The Bombardier Challenger 650 crashed during takeoff amid a snowstorm while en route from Houston to France’s Champagne region, killing all six people aboard. Earlier reports had named the captain and three passengers, and the NTSB has opened an investigation.

Newly Confirmed Victims

The Maine Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed that second pilot Jorden Reidel, 33, and sommelier Shelby Kuyawa, 34, were among those who died when the Bombardier Challenger 650 went down during takeoff, local and national outlets reported.

What Happened

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aircraft crashed at about 7:45 p.m. local time while attempting to depart Bangor on Jan. 25. The FAA later noted there were two crew members and four passengers on board. ABC News and other outlets reported the jet was en route from Houston to France’s Champagne region and had stopped in Bangor to refuel when a snowstorm moved in and the aircraft burst into flames.

Previously Named Victims

Earlier reporting identified four other victims: the aircraft's captain, reported by local media as 47-year-old Houston-area pilot Jacob Hosmer; attorney Tara Arnold; event planner Shawna Collins; and chef Nick Mastrascusa. Local and national coverage has linked the aircraft's registration to a Houston address associated with the personal-injury law firm Arnold & Itkin.

Investigation and Response

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has opened an investigation into the accident, and the FAA has issued preliminary notices. PEOPLE and other outlets contacted the Maine Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for comment; no immediate response was available at the time of reporting.
