Two men, aged 25 and 29, were seriously wounded in a shooting on Rimonim Street in Herzliya on Friday night, Israeli media reported. MDA paramedics at the scene said the victims "suffered serious penetrating injuries to their bodies" and both were rushed to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba for further treatment.

Police opened an immediate investigation and began searching for the suspects. Authorities said the incident appears to have a criminal background and that both shooting victims are already known to law enforcement.

Earlier the same night, Israeli outlets reported a separate incident in Bat Yam: a 30-year-old man was seriously wounded in a stabbing on Ehud Manor Street and was evacuated by MDA paramedics to the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Local police are treating that attack as likely criminal in origin as well.

“Both victims suffered serious penetrating injuries to their bodies,” MDA medics said.

Searches for suspects in both cases are ongoing. Police asked anyone with information, photos or video from the areas to contact investigators as inquiries continue.
