At least two people were killed and seven others injured, including a 13-year-old girl, after a Russian glide bomb struck Sumy late on Friday, local officials said.
Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy military administration, posted a photo of a badly damaged multi-storey residential building; the images and casualty details could not be independently verified immediately.
The strike occurred amid Russia's ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine, now in its fifth year.
