WASHINGTON, May 5 — The U.S. State Department said on Tuesday it approved the potential sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions — Extended Range (JDAM‑ER) and related equipment to Ukraine, valuing the package at $373.6 million.
The department named Boeing Company as the principal contractor for the proposed sale. The approval represents a key step in the U.S. foreign military sales process; final delivery would require subsequent government‑to‑government agreements and export licenses.
