Former Vice President Kamala Harris recently suggested she "might" run for president again in 2028 during an interview circulating on social media while promoting her memoir, 107 Days, which chronicles her 2024 campaign.
In a conversation released Monday with podcaster and commentator Sharon McMahon, McMahon asked whether Harris would consider another run after losing the 2024 election to President Donald Trump. Harris responded, "I haven’t decided." When McMahon pressed, "You’re still thinking about it?", Harris replied simply, "I might."

McMahon said she took from 107 Days the impression that Harris "wants" to run again. While promoting the book in October, Harris also gave similarly open-ended answers to other journalists: she told Kara Swisher "maybe, maybe not" and told the BBC she could "possibly" see herself running again but had not made a decision. Harris emphasized her continued commitment to public service, saying, "I am not done. I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and it’s in my bones."
