Authorities say dispatch logs show someone inside the residence called 911 early that morning to report that Ashley had been shot in the head. Local media obtained audio of a 911 call in which Caleb told operators an intruder had forced entry and shot his wife. "Oh my god, somebody broke into my home... my wife, she's got two shots to her head, there's blood everywhere," he can be heard saying.

Charges And Court Proceedings
Prosecutors have charged Caleb Flynn with murder, two counts of felonious assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of tampering with evidence. Court documents allege that Flynn used a 9mm handgun to shoot his wife and then staged the scene to mislead investigators. The filings state that the staging initially "led officers astray."
Flynn was booked into the Miami County Jail at 5:07 p.m. on Thursday and was arraigned the following morning, where he pleaded not guilty. His bond was set at $2 million. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 26 at 1:00 p.m., according to court records.
