Las Vegas Man Arrested After Allegedly Beating Parents to Death — Confessed to Dispatchers

Adrian Bailey, 27, has been arrested in Las Vegas after police say he fatally beat his parents with a baseball bat and called authorities shortly afterward to confess.
What Happened
According to an arrest report cited by KLAS, FOX5 and 8 News Now, Bailey placed a call to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, and told a dispatcher he had "killed them" and "couldn’t take it anymore." The dispatcher traced the call to a home in the 6400 block of New Brunswick Avenue.
In a second call made from a different location, Bailey allegedly told dispatchers officers should "kill [him] on sight" because he was a danger to himself and others. When asked whether he had shot himself, he reportedly said he "hadn’t killed myself yet, but had ‘done some others,'" and later told the dispatcher, "I have done it," according to the arrest report.
Scene and Charges
Officers responding to the New Brunswick Avenue address found Roger and Kristine Bailey in the living room with blunt-force trauma injuries. Roger Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene; Kristine Bailey was transported to a hospital and later pronounced deceased. A criminal complaint states a baseball bat was used in the attack.
Adrian Bailey was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of murder with use of a deadly weapon, according to police.
Community Response and Background
A memoriam from the Grand Canyon Synod described Roger Bailey as a "steady, prayerful, and deeply committed leader" who served on the synod council from 2019 to 2025 and worked for the City of Las Vegas for more than 32 years. The notice noted his kindness, integrity, and community involvement. Kristine Bailey was remembered for her devotion to children and regular service in Sunday school and Vacation Bible School.
"It affected me so bad, because you know, I’ve known them forever," neighbor Virginia Zimmermen told 8 News Now. "I was stunned too. It makes me, you know, want to cry. They told us a long time ago that they were having issues with him."
