Police arrested 26-year-old Vladimir Demidovich on Christmas night after he allegedly broke into two luxury homes in Golden Beach, Florida. Officers found him nude in the garage of a $12 million residence and later recovered his clothing at a nearby home valued at more than $37 million. Investigators say both homes appeared disturbed and that Demidovich was charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and criminal mischief; he was already out on felony bond from a June case.

Police arrested a 26-year-old man on Christmas night after he allegedly broke into two multimillion-dollar homes in Golden Beach, Florida. Officers found the suspect hiding nude inside the garage of a $12 million residence, and later recovered his clothing at a nearby property believed to be worth more than $37 million, authorities said.

What Happened

Golden Beach police responded just before 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 25 to a report of a "naked white male" in the 100 block of Ocean Boulevard, the department said. When officers searched the first home, they located the suspect, identified in jail records as Vladimir Demidovich, 26, of Hallandale Beach, nude inside a garage.

Demidovich told officers his clothing was at a nearby residence, and investigators later located those items at the second house. Miami-Dade property records cited by WPLG indicate that second residence has a market value of more than $37 million.

Evidence at the Scene

Police reported the second home appeared "disturbed," with beverages consumed and clothing left on the second floor. Investigators say Demidovich entered both homes without permission, consumed drinks inside and "demonstrated intent to commit theft," according to the police report.

Charges and Background

Court and jail records show Demidovich faces charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and criminal mischief. Officials also noted he was out on felony bond from a separate criminal mischief case in June at the time of the Christmas-night arrest.

Authorities booked Demidovich into the Miami-Dade jail; additional details on his custody status and any upcoming hearings were not immediately available.
