Allegations and Arrest

According to the arrest affidavit, hotel security told police Calvaire had previously stayed at the Provident Doral, checked out on Aug. 31 and had been told not to return. He reportedly returned a few days later to retrieve belongings and was escorted off the property. Authorities allege Calvaire returned again, gained access to the occupied room by jumping over a balcony fence and entering through a rear sliding glass door, then concealed himself under the bed while the guests slept.

Calvaire was arrested and booked on Sept. 10. Public Miami-Dade County arrest and court records state he faces a felony charge of burglary of an occupied dwelling and a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence. It was not immediately clear whether he has retained an attorney, and no initial hearing date was listed in the records at the time the affidavit was filed.
