600-Drone NASA-Themed Holiday Spectacular Debuts at Kennedy Space Center

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island, Florida, has introduced a new NASA-themed drone performance as part of its annual Holidays in Space celebration. The park will remain open until 7 p.m. from Dec. 21–30 so visitors can enjoy the holiday lights and the latest attraction.
The Holidays in Space Drone Show Spectacular features more than 600 drones and runs for about 10 minutes each night. The show begins at 6:50 p.m. in the Rocket Garden and includes a countdown sequence, a depiction of NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) launch, a special message from the International Space Station and festive NASA-themed imagery.
"A lot of times people have been here or they know about it in this part of Florida, but a lot's changed," said Russell Bruhn, Senior Communications Manager. "This is the latest thing. Six hundred drones telling the space story of NASA with a holiday twist."
The show is produced with drones supplied by Nova Sky Stories and is included with regular admission to the complex. Guests who want an elevated vantage point can purchase a premium viewing add-on on top of the Gateway building for $55 per person (available evenings Dec. 26–30). Annual passholders are eligible for a discount on the premium experience.
Tickets can be purchased online, with prices starting at $77 for adults and $67 for children. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to explore the Rocket Garden and holiday displays before the drone performance. Organizers hope the spectacle will inspire young visitors and create a memorable family tradition.
