Melania Trump Welcomes White House Christmas Tree in Horse-Drawn Carriage

First lady Melania Trump received the White House Christmas tree on Monday after it was brought from Korson's Tree Farms in Michigan in a green, horse-drawn carriage.

Pulled by two Clydesdales and driven by three men in top hats, the carriage drew attention as Mrs. Trump circled it and posed for photos. "It's a beautiful tree," she said.

Wearing a cream overcoat and dark red gloves, she greeted the handlers and paused to admire the tree.

First lady Melania Trump on Monday welcomed this year's White House Christmas tree, which arrived from Korson's Tree Farms in Michigan in a green, horse-drawn carriage.

The carriage was pulled by two Clydesdale horses and driven by three men wearing top hats. As it reached the White House grounds, the first lady walked around the carriage and posed for photographs.

"It's a beautiful tree," she said.

Dressed in a cream-colored overcoat and dark red gloves, Mrs. Trump shook hands with one of the drivers and with a woman standing beside the horses.

The arrival continues the White House tradition of installing an official Christmas tree ahead of the holiday season.
