The German Navy has chosen Lockheed Martin Canada’s CMS 330 combat management system in a contract valued at more than C$1 billion, Canadian Trade Minister Maninder Sidhu said on Monday. The procurement marks a significant export success for Canada's defence sector and strengthens defence ties between Ottawa and Berlin.

"The selection of Lockheed Martin Canada’s CMS 330 by the German Navy is a testament to our world-class defence technologies and the value of government-to-government partnerships," Sidhu said in a statement.
