U.S. Central Command released MQ-9 drone footage that appears to show suspected Hamas operatives assaulting an aid driver, moving him to a road median and stealing a truck full of humanitarian supplies bound for northern Khan Younis. Sen. Marco Rubio called the incident proof that Hamas is 'depriving the people of Gaza' and labeled the group 'the impediment,' urging it to stop looting and lay down arms. CENTCOM said the Civil-Military Coordination Center recorded the incident; the driver’s status is unknown. The CMCC coordinates nearly 40 international partners and has overseen more than 600 aid trucks entering Gaza daily in recent days.
Rubio Condemns Suspected Hamas Looting of Gaza Aid Truck in CENTCOM Drone Footage

Rubio condemns suspected looting after CENTCOM releases drone footage
Sen. Marco Rubio sharply criticized Hamas on Saturday after U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released MQ-9 drone footage that appears to show suspected members of the group seizing a truck loaded with humanitarian supplies bound for civilians in Gaza.
The surveillance video, recorded by the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC), shows suspected operatives assaulting the aid driver, moving him to the road's median and then driving off with the vehicle and its cargo. CENTCOM said the driver’s current status is unknown.
Rubio wrote on X that 'Hamas continues to deprive the people of Gaza of the humanitarian aid they desperately need,' and called the theft evidence that Hamas is 'the impediment.' He urged the group to stop looting and lay down its arms so Gaza can have a brighter future.
CENTCOM said the truck was part of a humanitarian convoy delivering supplies from international partners to residents of northern Khan Younis. The CMCC, established in southern Israel on Oct. 17, is coordinating efforts to monitor the ceasefire and oversee the flow of aid into Gaza.
According to CENTCOM, nearly 40 nations and international organizations are working through the CMCC to provide humanitarian, logistical and security assistance. The command added that in the past week international partners have delivered more than 600 trucks of commercial goods and aid into Gaza daily, and incidents like this undermine those distribution efforts.
Data published in August by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) previously indicated a substantial share of aid entering Gaza had been looted inside the territory, a finding that underscores ongoing challenges for relief operations.
This CENTCOM release and Rubio's rebuke highlight broader international concern that armed interference with relief convoys is preventing essential supplies from reaching civilians amid stabilization and humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
