Mark Asea, 36, was arrested at his Port St. Lucie residence and charged with a felony offense against a computer user tied to an earlier April investigation whose initial charges were dropped in May. Court records allege Asea accessed private data from two women’s devices — including passwords, device identifiers, purchase histories and a private Telegram photo — and posted the information on TikTok. He remains held on $35,000 bond and is due in court Nov. 19; the allegations are pending in court.
Florida Man Re-Arrested After Allegedly Posting Women’s Private Data on TikTok

Mark Asea, 36, was arrested Wednesday at his Port St. Lucie home and charged with a felony count of an offense against a computer user, according to court records. Authorities say the allegation ties back to an April investigation that initially produced charges which were later dismissed before prosecutors reopened the case in September.
Timeline and Allegations
In April, the Port St. Lucie Police Department booked Asea on two counts related to fraud or abuse via computer access and one count of stalking. Those three counts were dropped in early May and the file was administratively closed. On Sept. 24 the case was reopened and a new felony computer-related allegation was added.
The affidavit filed during the original probe describes how Asea allegedly obtained private material from two women he knew and posted it on his TikTok account. Investigators say the posts included sensitive details such as passwords, device identifiers (IMEI and MAC addresses), recent purchase histories and a private photograph from a Telegram message.
Victim Accounts
One woman told police she discovered her password had been spoken in a TikTok video, along with an IMEI number, a MAC address and a rundown of her last 10 online purchases. She said she does not receive email receipts for purchases, which led her to suspect someone had accessed her banking information. She also reported that the password had been shared in a closed TikTok group she believed Asea was not part of; she suspected he used a fake account to join that private group.
That same woman alleged Asea claimed in a video to be tracking her via her phone’s GPS and even identified the license plate of the vehicle she was driving.
A second woman told investigators she had given Asea remote access to her computer to help with technical issues and later accused him of installing malware while she briefly left the room. She alleges the malware granted ongoing access and that Asea posted a photo to TikTok that existed only as a private Telegram message on her phone.
The affidavit also states that Asea mentioned one of the women in more than 100 TikTok videos, sometimes referencing her multiple times in a single day.
Legal Status and Next Steps
As of Sunday night, Asea remained in the St. Lucie County jail on $35,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court for arraignment on Nov. 19. The allegations remain unproven, and Asea is presumed innocent until convicted.
