President Trump attacked Fox News on Truth Social, saying MAGA supporters and "REAL Patriots" will never embrace the network because it gives Democrats too much airtime and promotes a negative narrative about him and the GOP. He named Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries and Jessica Tarlov, though Schumer and Jeffries rarely appear on Fox. The piece notes that Fox and other national polls show Trump's approval slipping amid cost-of-living concerns and the conflict in Iran.
Trump Slams Fox News: Says MAGA and 'REAL Patriots' Will Never Embrace the Network

President Donald Trump erupted at Fox News on Wednesday, saying that MAGA supporters and what he called "REAL Patriots" will never warm to the network that many analysts credit with helping his presidential campaigns and his time in office.
"Why does Fox News always put Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Jessica Tarlov, and every Democrat on, saying bad things about the Republican Party and, of course, me? I actually think they get more airtime than Pro Republicans. This is why MAGA, and REAL Patriots, will never like Fox! They repeat a completely negative narrative, on and on it goes, and then we get a quick retort. It's truly amazing that I won all three Elections. The opposition is enormous, but the fight goes on!"
Trump posted the remarks on his Truth Social account and followed up with a second post defending his record:
"Our Nation is doing really well, in many ways, better than ever before, but the Public just doesn't know how well we're doing. The Fake News Media refuses to disseminate our Record Setting Numbers, so I'm doing the best I can to do it myself!"
Context: The president named several Democrats he said receive heavy airtime on Fox News. In fact, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has not appeared on the network in years, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) last appeared on Fox News Sunday in April.
Jessica Tarlov, who is often the lone left-leaning voice on Fox's top-rated panel show The Five, was not on air Wednesday; her most recent appearance was on Tuesday's episode.
Trump has also frequently criticized Fox News polling. Like other reputable national surveys, recent Fox polls have shown the president's approval rating slipping — a trend analysts attribute in part to rising cost-of-living concerns and the conflict in Iran.
