Donald Trump’s allied groups have amassed roughly $138 million for a concentrated midterm advertising blitz, dominated by a $95 million spend from No Going Back PAC tied to MAGA Inc. Safety and Affordability PAC plans about $27 million, and MAGA Inc. reserved $9 million for the Texas Senate race. Major Senate targets include Ohio, Michigan and Alaska, while Safety and Affordability focuses on about 15 House contests. FEC filings show MAGA Inc. had around $403.5 million on hand as of July 31; the groups have also spent on direct mail and text outreach.

Donald Trump’s political operatives have assembled a nearly $138 million advertising war chest in a concentrated, last-minute effort to blunt Democratic momentum ahead of the midterm elections.

The 80-year-old president staged a Republican gathering in Dallas as polls showed his personal standing becoming a liability for the party. The push includes heavy spending by a newly formed super PAC tied to his MAGA Inc. operation and other allied groups.

Major Spending and Structure

No Going Back PAC Inc., a super PAC linked to MAGA Inc., has already spent roughly $95 million on advertising. A second new group, Safety and Affordability PAC Inc., is slated to invest about $27 million more. Together with MAGA Inc.’s own buys, the three committees are expected to fund roughly $138 million across about 50 races.

Media-tracking firm AdImpact and reporting by The New York Times and CNBC show the biggest ad allocations are targeted at Senate battlegrounds in Ohio, Michigan and Alaska, with Safety and Affordability focusing primarily on roughly 15 House races.

Details From Filings And Buys

Federal Election Commission records show MAGA Inc. reported about $403.5 million in cash on hand as of July 31. Reports also note that paperwork for No Going Back and Safety and Affordability was filed with the FEC within minutes of each other by the same treasurer; No Going Back registered on September 1 and reportedly shares contact information with MAGA Inc., according to CNBC.

The groups have supplemented broadcast buys with around $6.5 million in direct-mail outreach and roughly $80,000 on text-message campaigns.

Top Targets And Allocations

No Going Back’s planned Senate expenditures include nearly $6.7 million aimed at Sherrod Brown in Ohio; about $3.8 million versus Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan; $2.9 million against Roy Cooper in North Carolina; and $1.8 million targeting Chris Pappas in New Hampshire. So far, roughly $780,000 has been earmarked to oppose Jon Ossoff in Georgia. MAGA Inc. itself reserved about $9 million for the Texas Senate contest between Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico.

Context And Message

Trump has publicly boasted about the size of the super PAC war chest — saying on September 4 that he believes nearly a billion dollars is available and that he plans to allocate hundreds of millions. The president also floated a controversial $5,000 payment to voters if Republicans hold both the House and Senate.

Early advertisements from these groups prominently feature Trump’s image and messaging; one spot closes with the line, "He's fighting for you every day. Help him finish the job." The White House has been contacted for comment.
