May 4 — Authorities in the United Arab Emirates' Fujairah reported that a fire broke out at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone after what officials described as a drone strike they said originated from Iran.
The Fujairah Media Office said civil defence teams were dispatched immediately to contain and control the blaze. Local emergency crews worked to secure the scene and prevent further damage to facilities.
There was no immediate comment from Iranian authorities about the allegation. UAE officials said investigations were ongoing and provided no further details in the initial statement.
