Connor Lynn Mayo, a Texas resident, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass after investigators say he repeatedly approached the Central Intelligence Agency’s main gate in Langley, Virginia, over a four-day period in late April.
What Happened
Court records reviewed by local media indicate Mayo drove up to the CIA’s main gate on multiple occasions between April 24 and April 27. The most recent encounter occurred at about 9:40 a.m. when Mayo approached the entrance in a white Hyundai Elantra with Texas plates, reportedly passing posted warning signs and visitor detours.

Confrontation With CIA Police
According to charging documents cited by WUSA9 and Fox affiliates, a CIA police officer stopped Mayo and asked for identification. Mayo could not produce acceptable ID and attempted to flee. The officer stopped the vehicle using a diversionary tactic, then ran the license plate and identified Mayo as the same person involved in two earlier incidents.
Investigators say Mayo had previously driven to the gate on April 24 and was ordered to leave. Two days later he "piggy-backed" behind an authorized vehicle to slip past a barrier; officers issued a citation and warned him he would be arrested if he returned.
When arrested after the latest approach, Mayo reportedly admitted he knew he was trespassing and acknowledged prior warnings. Court records quote him as saying he believed he was "intended to be at CIA." Investigators also say Mayo told officers he had visited the Pentagon the day before and that he wanted to be taken into custody.

Charges And Investigation
