Arkansas woman and children found dead at mansion home day after final divorce hearing with estranged husband

The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Charity Beallis and two of her children were found shot to death at their Bonanza, Arkansas, mansion on Dec. 3, one day after a final divorce hearing. Her estranged husband, Randall — who was arrested in February on domestic-related charges and later pleaded to a single battery count — was not listed as a suspect in the latest reports. Investigators have executed search warrants and say further warrants and interviews are expected as the probe continues.

Authorities say 40-year-old Charity Beallis and two of her children were found shot to death inside their Bonanza, Arkansas, mansion on Dec. 3, during a welfare check by deputies from the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office. The discovery came one day after a hearing to finalize Beallis’s divorce from her estranged husband, identified in reports as Randall.

Background And Investigation

The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to the property Dec. 3 and located the three victims with apparent gunshot wounds. Officials confirmed search warrants have been drafted and executed, and investigators indicated additional warrants and interviews are expected as the inquiry continues.

Local reporting and public records show Randall was arrested on Feb. 16, 2025, after an incident in which he allegedly choked Charity. He was initially charged with aggravated assault on a family member, third-degree domestic battery and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor. In October, he pleaded guilty to a single third-degree battery charge and later received a one-year suspended sentence along with a no-contact order prohibiting him from contacting Charity or her family.

Media outlets report that, as of the latest public updates, Randall — who works as a doctor in Arkansas — was not listed as a suspect in the killings. His attorney told reporters the client has been cooperative with investigators and supports the ongoing Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office probe.

Victim's Reported Concerns

Sen. Terry Rice, a Republican state senator, said he met with Charity earlier in 2025 and that she told him she feared for her life and the safety of her children. In an August comment on a local news article, Charity wrote that she felt she had been treated as the problem despite being the victim, and she accused the system of shielding the alleged offender.

“I’m living this battle right now. I am the victim, yet I’ve been treated like the problem while the criminal — a local doctor — is being shielded by the very system that’s supposed to protect us,” Charity wrote. “This is not just about me — this is about a system that protects offenders and rejects victims. Lives are at stake, including the lives of young children.”

Public divorce records show the couple married in 2015 and stopped living together in February 2025. Charity filed for divorce shortly after her husband’s February arrest and had been seeking full custody of the children. On Dec. 4, after Charity’s death, Randall’s attorney filed a motion to dismiss the divorce case.

Fox News Digital and local outlets have reported on the case; the sheriff’s office is leading the investigation and has urged anyone with information to contact law enforcement. Fox News Digital reported it reached out to Randall’s attorney for comment.
