Sen. Cory Booker and Alexis Lewis Booker married in two ceremonies this weekend: a courthouse service in Newark followed by a family celebration in Washington, D.C. The couple shared a joint Instagram post saying they were “overflowing with gratitude” and listed her name as Alexis Lewis Booker. Booker announced their engagement in September and has spoken about how Lewis transformed his personal life. According to People magazine, Lewis is 38 and a director at a real estate investment firm.
