A cargo ship docked at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro caught fire Friday evening; all 23 crew members were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. The blaze affected multiple decks and an explosion around 8 p.m. knocked out the ship's power, disrupting lights and crane operations. Hazmat teams identified hazardous materials in the involved bays and are monitoring air quality while more than 100 firefighters respond to contain the incident.
