The LAPD arrested seven people Saturday night as Dodgers fans celebrated the team's World Series victory across Los Angeles. Charges included three counts of felony vandalism, plus arrests for failure to disperse, battery on an officer and possession of fireworks; a woman was also detained after colliding with a mounted police horse, which is reported to be fine.
Vandalism was reported in Echo Park and a large sideshow in Pacoima saw cars doing donuts and fans setting off fireworks. The LAPD declared a Tactical Alert around 6 p.m., closed streets and issued dispersal orders at multiple intersections to restore public safety.
