‘Lazy and Black’: Woman Allegedly Tries to Run Over Black Dollar Tree Cashier After Service Refusal

A confrontation at a Dollar Tree in Sandy Springs, Georgia, captured on TikTok, escalated into a racially charged incident and an alleged vehicle attack that ended with an arrest, witnesses say.
What Happened
The episode was filmed and shared by Web Elyce (@itsybitsyweb) and has drawn widespread attention, with the video accumulating more than 594,300 views. According to Elyce's narration, the dispute began inside the store when a customer became upset after a cashier identified as "Sia," who is Black, refused to unload the customer’s items onto the conveyor belt.
Elyce alleges the customer launched a racist tirade, repeatedly calling the cashier "lazy," telling her to "get an education," and making other derogatory comments. Elyce says Sia, visibly upset, left her station to call a manager and appeared to quit on the spot.
Parking Lot Confrontation
The confrontation reportedly continued outside. Elyce described seeing the customer pursue Sia in a vehicle and attempting to strike her in the parking lot. She claims the driver reversed and charged at them "three or four times," and that bystanders narrowly avoided being hit by ducking behind parked cars.
In the TikTok narration Elyce says the customer shouted: "The Black cashier came out and smashed the windshield. It's because she's f****** racist."
According to the video and witnesses, the driver eventually made contact with the group; in response, Sia allegedly smashed the driver's windshield. The group then returned to the store, where the customer continued to shout accusations and racial slurs, according to the footage.
Aftermath
Elyce said police arrived and arrested the driver. She later created a GoFundMe to support Sia, who Elyce says was left traumatized and out of work following the incident. Video comments largely sided with Sia and called for legal action, including civil claims and insurance claims related to the damage.
