Dave Rubin warned on Sean Hannity's podcast that President Trump "may only have three months left" to pursue his agenda if Democrats sweep the midterms. Rubin said a House flip would trigger impeachment proceedings that could paralyze the White House, even if Senate removal remains unlikely. He predicted electoral gains for Democrats would embolden the left and spark chaotic infighting among Trump supporters.

Conservative commentator Dave Rubin told Sean Hannity on the Hang Out With Sean Hannity podcast that President Donald Trump "may only have three months left" to enact his policy agenda if Democrats sweep the midterm elections. A short teaser clip posted Saturday captured Rubin’s warning and the debate that followed.

Rubin Lays Out the Scenario

Rubin argued that if Republicans lose control of the House — and potentially the Senate — the White House would be consumed by an impeachment process. He said impeachment would likely be initiated, though removal from office would be difficult because the Senate probably would not secure the votes needed to convict and oust the president.

"People really better understand that it's not that Trump has two-and-a-half-years left. He may only have three months left. That in essence is where we could be," Rubin said. Hannity replied, "Good point."

Political Fallout and Infighting

Rubin warned that even an impeachment that does not lead to removal would begin a broader political rollback of the last decade of MAGA influence. He added that Democratic victories would embolden the left, while a loss for Republicans would likely trigger bitter internal fights within the conservative movement.

"Then the fighting on the right... that's going to go completely bananas because it's going to be like rats jumping from a ship. And then you're going to have all these people leaving Trump and trying to pick up the pieces. It's going to be complete chaos," Rubin said.

Rubin framed the choice for voters starkly: "We are on the edge of handing the keys to the castle to people who are telling us they want to burn the castle down. And we're about to hand them the keys to do it."

The short clip was published Saturday; the full episode of Rubin's appearance on Hang Out With Sean Hannity was scheduled for release on Tuesday.
